HA ACHARIYTH GADOWL YOWM
(THE LAST GREAT DAY)

Immediately following the seven days of CUKKAH comes Ha Achariyth Gadowl Yowm (The Last Great Day), the mysterious "eighth day." As a separate festival from the seven days of tabernacles, this feast pictures for us a time when every single human being who has ever drawn breath will have had a genuine opportunity for salvation and finally be given an opportunity to understand the Truth.

This is the time YAHUSHA was referring to in Yahanan (John)7: "In the Achariyth Yowm (last day), that Gadowl Yowm (great day) of the Feast, YAHUSHA stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me and drink.  He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water" (verses 37-38).

In the cepher (book) of Wayyiqra (Leviticus) 23:36, YAHUAH commanded this festival to our ancient ancestors saying, "Seven days ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto YAHUAH: on the 'eighth day' shall be an qodesh miqra (holy convocation) unto you; and ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto YAHUAH: it is a 'atsarah (solemn assembly); and ye shall do no servile work therein." Ha Achariyth Gadowl Yowm (The Last Great Day) pictures the amazing truth that 'abiyr YAHUAH who made the shamayim (heaven) and the 'erets (earth) were actually "trying" to save all humanity, He would succeed.  All humanity would keep His mitsvah and His feast days! Yet the fact is that the overwhelming majority of people throughout human history have never kept YAHUAH'S towrah, and so it remains until this very day!

YAHUSHA said in Yahanan (John) 7: 1,7 "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheefold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. . . Then YAHUSHA said unto them again, "Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep." Kepha (Peter) was inspired to write of Him, "This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.  Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under shamayim (heaven) given, among men, whereby we must be yesha' (saved)" Acts 4:11-12.  So you either accept the MashaYAH or you do not, and if you truly accept Him you will let Him rule in your life.  YAHUSHA said it best in MattithYAHU (Matthew) 19:17, "Why callest thou me towb (good)? there is none towb but one, that is, YAHUAH: but if thou wilt enter unto chay (life), 'shamar ha mitsvah' (keep the commandments)" "And His mitsvah commandments are not kabed (grievous, heavy, burdensome)" I Yahanan (I John) 5:3.

For in YAHUAH'S time, all humans who have ever lived will be given a real understanding of His machashabah (plan and purpose), and the vast majority will accept YAH'S emeth (truth) once their eyes are fully opened.  This will be the first genuine opportunity for Man to come to understand YAHUAH and YAHUAH'S YASHA' (Saviour) YAHUSHA, without being "deceived" by Satan- the "god" of this present age (Revelation 12:9; II Corinthians 4:4).  At this time Satan is banished.  Man minds are now opened to real understanding and repentance.  They will be given YAH'S Qadash Ruwach (Set- apart Spirit) and will grow in chanan (favour) and yada' (knowledge) of YAHUAH YASHA MASHAYAH (YAHUSHA) [II Kepha (Peter) 3:18].

With the observance of this seventh feast that we call the LAST GREAT DAY we finish the portrayal of the entire plan of our Creator.  From our first acceptance of MASHAYAH as savior to the picturing of His coming and all the way until the LAST GREAT DAY, picturing the time when all human beings will finally have a real opportunity for salvation.  These YAHUAH-given, YAHUAH-inspired feasts picture the real plan of YAHUAH.  The pagan religious festivals that Satan has fostered have deceived humanity and are a cheap substitute.  In reality, they picture a god and a christ that lead to the acceptance of a gospel, which directly contradicts the emmet/aman (true and faithful) message that MASHAYAH and His limmuwd/lamad (taught ones, disciples) preached!

In conclusion, these seven festivals with two lasting seven days and five lasting one day make nineteen annual feast days each year.  Seven of these nineteen days are special “sabbaths.” They are the first and last days of the Feast  Yowm ha Matstsah Lechem (Days of Unleavened Bread), the Feast of Chamishshiym (Pentecost), the Feast of Trumpets, the Day of Kippur (Atonement), the first day of the Feast of Cukkah (Tabernacles) and the Last Great Day.   It is through the observation and celebration of YAHUAH’S  seven annual feast days that we understand YAHUAH’S {ma-khaw-shaw-baw}.   Through YAHUAH’S {ma-khaw-shaw-baw} (plan and purpose), we learn YAHUAH’S ruwth (will) for humanity.
